Papaya is a tropical fruit. It grows well in mild subtropical areas. A papaya is a small, sparsely branched tree, usually with a single stem that grows 5 to 10 m high, with spirally arranged large leaves “attached” to the top of the trunk.

Papaya leaf powder can also be used for a face mask. Mix 1 teaspoon of papaya leaf powder with plain yogurt and leave on face for up to 10 mins. Rinse with lukewarm water and wipe your face with a gentle cloth. With regular use of such a mask you will remove acne, pimples and excess fat.

You can mix papaya powder leaves in water (approx. 1 dcl) and apply it on the scalp (scalp mask). Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Such a hair mask nourishes and moisturizes the scalp and prevents dandruff, removes excess oil and dirt on the scalp.
